Monosoul started off as a musical collaboration between Moritz Heppner and Niko Reif in the aftermath of working together at the mastering studio of the highly commercial german record company ZYX Music in the mid noughties.
Since then the project has evolved and, next to releases on a number of different labels, includes a little authoring label. Besides the duo setup, Moritz has also used the name Monosoul for DJ gigs as well as solo works and collaborations with house music entrepreneurs Johannes Albert.
