Moonee is the musical alias of François, a Marseille-based DJ, producer and founder of Groovence Discs, one of France’s most forward-thinking underground house labels. Also known for his projects Twice Movement and Simple Request, Moonee has carved a distinctive path between house, breaks, bass, deep electronics and cinematic soundscapes.
His productions have found homes on acclaimed imprints such as SlothBoogie, Omena, Oath, and his own Groovence, receiving support across the international scene. As a DJ, Moonee is a key figure of Marseille’s underground community, regularly performing at the city’s most vibrant venues such as Le Chapiteau, with appearances that blend groove-driven club energy with introspective, narrative-like journeys.
