Hailing from London, England, shape-shifting indie folk trio More Like Trees specialize in a heady, self-described blend of "flamenco, drum & bass, classical, hip-hop, indie, dance and folk," resulting in a truly idiosyncratic sound that falls somewhere between the kaleidoscopic folk-pop of Noah and the Whale and reggae-infused rap-rock of Sublime. Formed in 2011 around the talents of siblings Josh and Matt Whitehouse, along with double bassist Lachlan Radford, the group released an EP, Full Circle, in 2012, followed by their full-length studio debut, Roots, Shoots & Leaves, in the summer of 2013. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
