Stockholm-based Small Feet forge resonant, folk-rock-inspired indie rock. With a voice that's three-quarters <a href="spotify:artist:6v8FB84lnmJs434UJf2Mrm">Neil Young</a> with one-quarter <a href="spotify:artist:35U9lQaRWSQISxQAB94Meo">America</a>'s <a href="spotify:artist:431C2mKCK1n7XnRejGtbdz">Gerry Beckley</a>, singer, guitarist, and songwriter Simon Stålhamre started the project, eventually partnering with American bassist Jacob Snavely (<a href="spotify:artist:2JaxTkqICQT4cCGJ1iRIqF">Dag för Dag</a>) and adding (a mainly jazz) drummer Christopher Cantillo to complete the trio. Recorded mostly in an 18th century cabin on an island in Stockholm, their at-once immediate and hypnotic, contemplative debut, From Far Enough Away Everything Sounds Like the Ocean, was released on Seattle's <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Barsuk+Records%22">Barsuk Records</a> in the summer of 2015.
