MovaKween is a multi-dimensional singer-songwriter from Baltimore, MD, blending sultry R&B, Neo-Soul, and cosmic frequencies into music that moves the soul. Inspired by Erykah Badu, Meshell Ndegeocello, Lauryn Hill, Björk, Sade, and D’Angelo, her sound fuses ethereal melodies, timeless grooves, and spiritual depth into immersive experiences.

Her artistry is rooted in storytelling, healing, and exploration. Her 2021 debut album AnuKween received worldwide distribution and earned her a feature in Afrofuturism: The Origin Story on the Smithsonian Network, streaming on Hulu, YouTube TV, and Amazon Prime.

As a seasoned performer, MovaKween has graced stages across the East Coast, including Artscape, AFRAM, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and M&T Spotlight. Awarded a full scholarship to 1500 Sound Academy in Los Angeles, she sharpened her craft under Grammy-winning mentors.

Now back in Baltimore, MovaKween continues her evolution with SLOWLY (March 21, 2025)—a sultry, groove-infused track embodying deep connection, sensuality, and presence, introducing a bold, intimate new era of her sound. With an upcoming EP on the way, she continues to create music that inspires and uplifts through soulful, transcendent artistry.
