Andy Murphy & Jolyon Petch officially teamed up in 2017 as 'Murph & Petch', with their collaboration on the classic Paul Simon song ‘You can call me al’ which shot up the Australian national club charts to give them their first #1 in the country.
Murph & Petch bring together two vocal house music producers from 2 sides of the ditch, ‘Petch’ originally hailing from Auckland, NZ, and ‘Murph’ born & Bred in Melbourne. The lads embarked on a national tour in 2017 taking in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne & also Auckland, which saw packed out venues and new fans along the way loving their Live DJ sets and original music productions.
Having signed with Vicious Records for their first single 'You can call me Al’, Which smashed the ARIA Club charts at #1 It also hit #23 on the Beatport top 100 Dance charts aswell.
2 months later following their #1 hit they officially remixed Vandalism’s single ‘Shiny Disco Balls’ which saw them land another #1 chart hit with there Big bassline inspired remix. Not bad for a production team that had formed only a few months prior.
As individual DJ's they have both achieved alot nationally and this new project sees these guys headlining some of the biggest parties in Melbourne, Sydney & abroad.
2019 sees the lads back in the studio putting the finishing touches on their upcoming single ‘Rebel Love’ with UK pop songstress ‘Amy Pearson’. A classy touch of piano house action with slamming drums, catchy vocal chops & a sexy vocal top line.
