Muzzy Bearr is the brainchild of Detroit-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter Dan Hacker. Heavily influenced by the rich musical history of The Motor City, Hacker has been known to pull from a wide array of sounds ranging from Motown and Detroit Techno to Hip-Hop/Rap and Disco, making music that sounds fresh yet familiar to anybody who listens.
Known by most for his extensive work both touring and in the studio with fellow Detroiter <a href="spotify:artist:25oLRSUjJk4YHNUsQXk7Ut" data-name="GRiZ">GRiZ</a>, Hacker has been working hard since 2014’s Vintage Sutra to discover what makes him unique, and thinks that the broad scope of inspiration he pulls from combined with his experience in the industry allow him to bend genre and style in a way all his own and not concern himself with trends or popularity.
