MY BABY is a Dutch/New Zealand trio, made up of siblings Cato van Dijck (vocals, bass, and guitar) and Joost van Dijck (drums), along with kiwi guitarist Daniel ‘DaFreez’ Johnston. Together, they’ve crafted a signature sound they describe as Psychedelic Blues Dance.
MY BABY’s journey has been marked by constant evolution and fearless experimentation. They have been spreading their bluestrance rave to the approval of audiences worldwide since 2012, featuring on renowned festivals such as Glastonbury (UK), Isle of Wight (UK), Sziget (HU), Fusion (DE), Exit (RS), WOMAD (worldwide), Lowlands (NL) and Pinkpop (NL).
With their latest album "Echo", MY BABY delves deeper into the hypnotic soundscapes that define their signature roots-driven delta trance. This album is an exploration of echoes—both literal and metaphorical—drawing from ancient myths, feminine archetypes, and the endless reverberations of time. "Echo" weaves
together pulsating rhythms, swirling guitars, and ethereal vocals to tell a story that feels both timeless and urgent.
