Nie wartete man darauf, dass einem das Glück widerfährt oder Jemand einen entdeckt. Stattdessen nahmen Mykket Morton die Dinge stets selbst in die Hand, auch wenn Wege dadurch vielleicht unkonventionell wurden. Statt nach Berlin zu gehen, wie durchaus ja an der Schwelle zur professionellen Musikindustrie üblich, baute man sich einfach in Kassel selbst ein professionelles Umfeld. Das bis hierhin verdiente Geld wurde in den Ausbau eines eigenen Kulturorts, eigenen Proberaums und Studios, sowie Live-Clubs – „DasFranzUlrich“ – in ihrer Heimatstadt investiert. Als während Corona-Lockdown die selbstproduzierte EP „Upside Down“ nicht auf der Bühne gespielt und promotet werden konnte, veröffentlichte man kurzerhand zusammen mit bereits erwähntem Umfeld ein eigenes Talk-Doku-Livesession Format auf YouTube namens „Auf eine Kiste Bier mit Mykket Morton“.

Instead of going to Berlin, as is quite usual on the threshold of the professional music industry, they simply built a professional environment in Kassel.
