Born and raised in the foothills of Los Angeles, Nicoles began her current musical trajectory around 2009, playing in bands (The Wild Reeds, Branches) and touring the country in the years to follow.
 
In 2018, she paired up with producer James McAlister (Sufjan Stevens, The National) to release music under her own name, and continues the collaboration with the release of her newest EP “Spilling”. The thoughtful lyrics and melodies, paired with McAlister’s masterful production makes it some of her best work yet.
