Navid Fashami (born 1982) is an Iranian composer and filmmaker. He began his artistic journey as a teenager through songwriting, and later pursued a degree in film directing, developing a practice at the intersection of sound and image—with a particular focus on poetic, experimental, and essayistic forms.
His film music spans a broad spectrum of fiction, documentary, and experimental cinema. His work has been featured at prestigious festivals such as Locarno and Toronto, and he participated as a film composer in Berlinale Talents.
