NEEV is a 31-year-old singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Portugal whose work has reached audiences across the globe.
He first rose to international recognition as the vocalist and co-writer of “Breathe” by SEEB, written alongside 11lit3s and the Norwegian duo themselves. The single became a global hit, peaking at #28 on Billboard, spending 10 weeks on the chart.
In addition to his own projects, NEEV has also co-written songs for Mike Perry and other artists, contributing to works that have collectively surpassed 100 million streams worldwide.
Born in Cascais, NEEV later moved to the UK to study Music Business at the Academy of Contemporary Music. His performance at Reeperbahn Festival in Germany led to a worldwide record deal with Universal France and a publishing deal with BMG Germany.
In 2020, he released his debut album “Philosotry”, recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy-winning producer Larry Klein, who dubbed him “the Portuguese Prince.” The record featured singles such as “Calling Out,” “Lie You Love It,” and “Something Trivial.”
The following year, NEEV composed, wrote, and produced “Dancing in the Stars” for Festival da Canção, Portugal’s national selection for Eurovision. His performance won the public vote, earning him critical acclaim and nationwide attention.
That same period saw him create Encore Music for All, a non-profit project that donated musical instruments to communities in Portugal, turning music into a vehicle for access and hope.
