Affiliated with <a href="spotify:artist:0gusqTJKxtU1UTmNRMHZcv">Dizzee Rascal</a>, Newham Generals are a grime duo from East London who made their full-length album debut in 2009. Founded in 2003 in Forest Gate, a residential area within the East London borough of Newham, the duo was originally a trio comprised of <a href="spotify:artist:32Z7rpzefCIn0GZ8XwzrwX">Footsie</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6bwkMlweHsBCpI2a0C5nnN">D Double E</a>, and Monkstar, all of whom had been part of the N.A.S.T.Y Crew collective prior to founding a group of their own. Monkstar departed the group prior to its full-length album debut, Generally Speaking (2009). Released on <a href="spotify:artist:0gusqTJKxtU1UTmNRMHZcv">Dizzee Rascal</a>'s label, Dirtee Stank Recordings, the album features the lead single "Head Get Mangled."
