Niara is a Croatian-born, London-based singer-songwriter and producer whose music blurs genre boundaries. Niara's artistry is deeply inspired by their family. "I have always been around music. My dad plays an accordion which he taught himself to play, so I grew up listening to a lot of Safet Isović. But I think what ultimately sealed my music taste was when my sister gave me her old mp3 that had about 100 songs on it. It was everything from Beyoncé to Pearl Jam."

They’ve been writing songs, developing their vocals, learning guitar and piano since childhood. Their debut EP, Via Dolorosa, showcases a vibrant mix of upbeat trap, emotionally charged lyrics, and the bittersweet nostalgia of first heartbreak.

Niara is deeply involved in every aspect of their craft. "I went to art school so along with being a musician, I am also very visual. When I'm making a song it's about the whole feeling around it. A vision of emotion, sound and images that would flow through my mind."
Their upcoming 11-track mixtape 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝗱 (June 2026) spans indie rock, pop house and alt trap, exploring emotional intelligence. By blending personal experiences with layered, genre-defying sounds, Niara offers a thoughtful and authentic exploration of human connection through their music.
