Nick Coleman is a music producer, live performer and DJ from Melbourne Australia, based in Dusseldorf. A classically trained violinist (A.Mus) and guitarist Coleman completed a Bachelor of Music at Queensland University of Technology.
To date Coleman has written and produced numerous ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) Dance Chart Top 10's, Top 10 Pop Chart tracks, Beatport Top 10's, and a club hit which was voted into 'The Australian Top 100 Greatest Dance Tracks of All Time'.
Support from Carl Cox, Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), DJ Hell, Annie Mac (BBC Radio1) and Moguai reflect the diverse range of Coleman's music. His work has been licensed to Ministry of Sound, MTV, Kontor Records, International Deejay Gigolos and Sweat It Out.
In 2016 Coleman was commissioned by iconic Australian band Yothu Yindi and the Treaty Project to write and produce music for the band. His work was performed at their sold out Australian shows and the bands performance at the 2018 Australia Commonwealth Games closing ceremony.
Released the 22nd January 2021, Nick Coleman’s debut album ‘Live’, is the first in a series of three live performance albums and the result of two years pre-production, research, development and innovation at the forefront of electronic music technology and performance.
