Contemporary R&B duo Night & Day featured the vocal team of Tonyatta "Tony" Martinez and Gasner "Gaz" Hughes, veterans of the '90s R&B scene who earned their break by contributing occasional songs to film soundtracks and performing as background vocalists for acts like <a href="spotify:artist:63727CmmJ8oWFh8eAHvDYq">MC Breed</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2r09Inibex3C4ZNTUVSG3m">Keith Sweat</a>.
