<a href="spotify:artist:2Qvazika82rloxWHCj5kcl" data-name="Night Of Joy">Night Of Joy</a>, formed in 2015, set out to create scuzzy, noisy rock. Their debut EP, <a href="spotify:album:66DLfH0fcgDhAgDh9fJTMr" data-name="Better Life">Better Life</a>, built on early demos, was followed in 2016 by <a href="spotify:album:43rEtqh30otHvMAEI6g6R4" data-name="Fucking in the USA">Fucking in the USA</a> a psychedelic hard rock EP recorded with the late Ed Ackerson. A West Coast tour supported its release.
After lineup changes, including co-founder Ryan Traster's departure, the band refined their sound with the <a href="spotify:album:5PRhaDdFJ2tGai34P66Bs6" data-name="Devils EP">Devils EP</a> By 2020, amid the pandemic and civil unrest, they worked with Brady Moen at Midwestern Records to craft their first full-length album, <a href="spotify:album:40QgYTmZeXsqYmp7U2RgPJ" data-name="King Baby">King Baby</a>. Spanning nearly a decade, the album captures their evolution as musicians, a band, and friends.
