He made his debut in 2015 with the single <a href="spotify:track:6gieyKMHiEGYJKWJzm3AUM" data-name="Loves Like She Lives">Loves Like She Lives</a> , followed by the EP <a href="spotify:album:6SHyZJyivG58yBvMVvskc1" data-name="7 Tracks">7 Tracks</a> in 2016. In 2019, he teamed up with <a href="spotify:artist:6Ic5lBnSwuoDzoNm3SAcJg" data-name="Jerome Phoenix">Jerome Phoenix</a> to release <a href="spotify:track:5s26mXmXdriXuobYmhXG1J" data-name="Fallin'">Fallin'</a>, and co-wrote <a href="spotify:track:40ncQT3N1vL2cptj1WB8Ky" data-name="My Home">My Home</a> with composer <a href="spotify:artist:1IWzmhjSFB9xpkQ438UAoA" data-name="Jeffrey van Rossum">Jeffrey van Rossum</a> for the Dutch film Just Friends.
In January 2022, Nils appeared on the Dutch TV show Better Than Ever, where he gave a heartfelt performance of <a href="spotify:track:1xlumUnHkPdyQMkY2Hntca" data-name="Burning House - Better Than Ever / Aflevering 5 / Live">Burning House - Better Than Ever / Aflevering 5 / Live</a> (originally by <a href="spotify:artist:5WRElKaZsn1tGnrgmJVAeO" data-name="Cam">Cam</a>). A studio version of the song was released shortly after. Later that year, on August 1st, he released <a href="spotify:track:1TlU8jDiLtMxOdTETchh1i" data-name="Rosie">Rosie</a> — a beautiful rendition of the <a href="spotify:artist:1bdAJUX6JPsnYHbTl5jbk6" data-name="Joan Armatrading">Joan Armatrading</a> classic.
