Dan’s love of classic pop and soul, paired with Tom's history as a DJ, has led to a mix of disco and dancefloor-leaning tracks that combine old-school instrumentation with modern production twists.
Ellie (<a href="spotify:artist:7IXaHCboVc1IOzBqdHmQ1v" data-name="Mr. Beale">Mr. Beale</a>) winds her bluesy vocals around the instrumentals, like a jazzy snake around a groovy tree. Tom Nevile fills the bill on bass.
Their nu-disco debut '<a href="spotify:album:74NHaqU1LWJeb9FPbYjDR9" data-name="Nothing Sweet">Nothing Sweet</a>' was released on Midnight Riot in 2018 and followed by the boogie-funk of '<a href="spotify:album:3FacYfbkVTqoGIWWKFwXqN" data-name="Bigger Dreaming">Bigger Dreaming</a>' with Editorial Records in 2020.
The group hope their particular brand of genre-straddling disco can reach the same heights as label mates and personal heroes: Late Nite Tuff Guy, Amp Fiddler and Dr Packer, and bring turntable energy to the live stage.
