tldr; we are a three-piece math-rock, post-rock act from Thailand.
NUMAN started as a bedroom solo project of Numan Naveed, former guitarist of <a href="spotify:artist:2S89Cw2G6vLEeiUyOpyGu8" data-name="The Rocket Whale">The Rocket Whale</a> and promoter of Thailand’s Math Rock Appreciation initiative. Borrowing influences from mid-west emo and UK math rock, the sound captures a gleeful or at times, sombre tone of instrumental music.
Both guitarist (Numan) and drummer (Off) as past teammates and the bassist (Job) from <a href="spotify:artist:0DbgrbAOLKmjIuoM6tuxaw" data-name="Hope the flowers">Hope the flowers</a> /withyouathome, the trio has cultivated a post/math-rock unique sound combination that share similar affinities for complex instrumental no-fringes rock. Recently the band toured in their first ever international gig in South East Asia with tour group <a href="spotify:artist:1wzRf26bl78RoiRN6DVeJF" data-name="FXTRT">FXTRT</a> to Singapore and Malaysia adorning new listeners and experiences.
