Obbie Messakh is an Indonesian singer-songwriter. He was introduced to Indonesia’s music with JK Records in 1984 through his song entitled “Birunya Rinduku”. Following the public's positive reception of Obbie's song, he released his first solo album entitled Kau dan Aku Satu in 1985. This album became very popular in the 80s until now. He composed and sang many songs, one of which was Kisah Kasih di Sekolah, one of his timeless hits songs. His works have been widely appreciated among audiences from various segments, both in Indonesia as well as abroad.
