Stjepko Zebec, aka Orange Bananas was born in Zagreb, Croatia. He picked up a bass guitar at the age of 13. Soon after he started writing and producing his own music. At 18 he moved to New York City as he was accepted into The New School of Jazz with a scholarship. His teachers include Hank Shocklee (Public Enemy, Ice Cube), Jeff Carney (Bobby McFerrin, Barbra Streisand), Gene Perla (Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan) and many more. Currently, he is independently releasing his music.
