In November 2018 17 artists came together in Freetown, Sierra Leone. 5 from Iceland, 4 from the UK, and 8 Sierra Leoneans spent 3 days in pop up studios, exchanging ideas, jamming and creating music as part of a collaboration called OSUSU, which was supported and arranged by the team behind the Freetown Music Festival (est. 2016). Out of those 3 days came 22 songs. 12 of those will be released weekly followed by the release of vol.1 of the compilation on 6 December 2019.
