Though it's basically just another incarnation of <a href="spotify:artist:17dbJyUCrxh4I7iyUrjaHU">Carl Craig's</a> innovative career, Paperclip People is his most dancefloor-slanted project, resulting in productions quite distinct from the albums released as himself. Recording several singles during 1996 for Britain's Open Records (run by the super-club Ministry of Sound), Paperclip People's unique fusion of tweaked acid-dub and house raised consciousness about <a href="spotify:artist:17dbJyUCrxh4I7iyUrjaHU">Craig</a> on mainstream dancefloors. Late in 1996, he collected Paperclip People singles with additional new material for The Secret Tapes of Dr. Eich. In late 1998, the single "4 My Peepz" was released on Planet E.
