As many producers and DJ's, the Belgium born soul behind Paris Avenue, Danny
Corten, started out his clubbing and producing carrier very early. That was the way
to do it in the raving '90s, the period that influenced him the most.
After many productions and collaborations Danny started his project Paris Avenue in
2004.
The first Paris Avenue track, “I Want You”, was released through N.E.W.S. Records
and gained a lot of airplay on Belgian radio stations as well as on French radios. It
gained momentum in 2005 and became a big cross over dance record on the
European music firmament peaking at #1 position in the French Dance Single Chart
and #10 in the Australian Singles Chart.
In the UK and Australia it was picked up for release Ministry Of Sound.
The follow-up single release in 2005 was “In My Mind” and it reached position #14 in
the Official French Chart. Ultra Records picked it up for release in the US.
“Feel It” in 2007 was a huge club hit with remixes by Chocolate Puma, released via
N.E.W.S. Records.
In 2010 Paris Avenue once again reached #1 position in the Belgian Dance Chart
with the track “My Life Is Music”.
Danny’s success with Paris Avenue opened him new doors for collaborations with
high profile names. In 2011 Danny released a track he made together with Karl Hyde
and Rick Smith from legendary Underworld with entitled “Timeless” which got
released by the Belgian Dance label Versuz Essentials and was picked up for heavy
rotation by Tiesto.
