PassCode is a Japanese group known for fusing a powerful band-driven sound with intense screams and high-energy performances. Since their major debut in 2016, they have appeared at major festivals such as SUMMER SONIC and ROCK IN JAPAN, gaining widespread attention.
In April 2019, PassCode released their second major album, CLARITY, which marked a key milestone in their career, achieving their highest chart positions to date on both Oricon and Billboard JAPAN. The track “Ichika Bachika” was also chosen as the opening theme for the Kakegurui series.
In May 2020, the single STARRY SKY, used as the theme song for the TV dramaInseki-Kazoku, debuted at No. 1 on both the Oricon Weekly Single Chart and the Billboard JAPAN Weekly Single Chart—becoming the group’s first No. 1 single.
In 2022, PassCode held their first-ever solo concert at Nippon Budokan.
In 2023, they embarked on their first U.S. tour, performing in Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York, followed by a nationwide Japan tour.
In 2024, PassCode transferred to Bandai Namco Music Live. Their songs “WILLSHINE” and “SKILLAWAKE” were selected as opening themes for Season 2 of multiple TV anime series, including SHY and As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World.
In November 2025, PassCode held an arena concert, PassCode YOKOHAMA BUNTAI 2025 “DESTINEX”, marking their first arena performance in approximately three years.
