Pearla released her debut album in 2023 on Spacebomb Records. Her latest single "To Love Something" is an exciting indication of the Brooklyn-based project’s sophomore album expected in 2026. Self-produced and mixed by Bennett Littlejohn (Hovvdy, Katy Kirby, Sinai Vessel, TOPS), “To Love Something” blends the sonic intricacy and lyrical whimsy with which Pearla is known to create a world all her own. It’s a vibrant rumination on the mundane details that make life meaningful: Knife through the tomato / White sky flower bud / Warm bread and bridges / Bustelo brewed to mud / Leaving the party / Joanna Newsom / My shirt with the bears on it / Talking with you and listening.
