Pengshui are a genre-smashing trio blending punk energy, grime attitude, and earth-shaking bass.
Since their explosive 2018 debut, they’ve lit up stages from Download and Bloodstock to Glastonbury and Boomtown, dropped two fierce albums, and even caught the attention of The Prodigy for official remixes. Fronted by Illaman (Dave Penning), a former member of hip-hop collective Problem Child and an MC for the likes of Foreign Beggars, Goldie, Flux Pavilion and Chinese Man, and anchored by renowned bassist Fatty Bassman (Chris Hargreaves), co-founder of Submotion Orchestra and pioneering force in live electronic bass, they’re ready to tear down whatever’s in their path.
