Pentateuch Movement was founded by lead singer/songwriter Kevor “Var” Williams and drummer Brady “Jah Bradez” Robinson. Pentateuch represents the first five books of the Bible. This movement is a continuation of the journey to preserve our roots and culture in this generation. A cohesive voice was necessary to deliver the message of African consciousness and unity.
In 2012, Pentateuch Movement made their mark on the music scene with their first uplifting
and memorable single “Black Face” off the debut album “The Genesis”. A year later, The
movement toured Europe sharing the message music with fans throughout the continent with
performances at club and major festivals before releasing their second project, aptly
named EP “Chapter V” with messages reminiscent of reggae's golden era.
Pentateuch Movement’s foundation of unity translates from their daily way of life into their
presence, rocking crowds with inspiring performances at festivals across the world such as
Europe, USA and hometown Jamaica, alongside fellow artistes such as Chronixx and Kabaka
Pyramid, with their latest appearance being at the 2017 SXSW Music festival in Austin Texas.
Pentateuch Movement released a single “Crime” from their sophomore album in 2016 followed by their second single "Punchinella" in 2017. The group followed up in March 217 by appearing at the popular SXSW Music festival in Austin as a major stop on a small tour around Texas.
“Chapter XVIII” set to be released in 2018.
