Pentire are an indie band who make pop songs for the post-jangle generation through the smiles and sweat of the mosh pit. This Herefordshire four-piece tell beautifully crafted stories of student life, a small-town upbringing, and the innocence of youth.
Brought up on a diet of <a href="spotify:artist:0C0XlULifJtAgn6ZNCW2eu" data-name="The Killers">The Killers</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7x5rK9BClDQ8wmCkYAGsQp" data-name="Paolo Nutini">Paolo Nutini</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:21UJ7PRWb3Etgsu99f8yo8" data-name="Stereophonics">Stereophonics</a>, frontman and principal songwriter Jack formed a band with guitarist Owen in the sleepy town of Ross-on-Wye.
The two friends met drummer Jake and bass player Jacob whilst at university, which cemented the four-piece that is now selling out venues across the UK.
With continued support from BBC Radio 1 Future Artists, Pentire sold out both of their previous two UK tours, have played festivals such as Truck, YNot, Isle of Wight & Splendour, and have toured with the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:5N5jf98OOEf3uAIJpi1deD" data-name="The Royston Club">The Royston Club</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4jPWi4cSe5zK2dUCLWiBaN" data-name="junodream">junodream</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2Sf3JoQvmbE3hi7hfwzofq" data-name="milk.">milk.</a>.
