Per Vers started out as a battle rapper, winning MC's Fight Night twice as well as the predecessor "De 8 Bedste" before leaving the battle circuit undefeated. Per Vers has been a full-time musician since then, with more than 2500 live shows. He has released twelve solo albums and just as much music on mixtapes and other projects. Known for bending and twisting words in his thought provoking and attention demanding lyricism, Per is the only Danish rapper to have received the most prestigious prize for a Danish poet, author or songwriter, Modersmålprisen ("The Danish Language Prize") for "outstanding use of his native tongue".
