Perpetual Loop (Charles Massey) exists out of the love of chill out music. Influenced by all styles of music he concentrated on his own organic style in the mid 90s embracing electronic techniques to create landscapes, beats and symphonic arrangements (influenced by his early years of playing the Cello and the Piano).
In '04, Charles, along with Michael dog (Mega Dog) and Eat Static, released a compilation on Rumour Records, which became an instant hit.
In the summer of '06 Perpetual Loop's debut album (Universal Flow) was released to critical acclaim. Since then he has released more than six studio albums and contributed to many compilations on many respected labels such as Uxmal, Organic Records, Mystic Sounds and Digital Duvet. From time to time he has also provide mixes for other artists (Lemonchill, Banco de Gaia).
His live sets are a highlight, improvising in realtime around his own work, creating new unique versions that are heard only once, in the there and now.
Influenced by the festivals / clubs he has played at around the world, Perpetual Loop has far out stretched its original ‘Psy-Chill’ category, now covering everything from ambience to melodic house.
