Based in Nottingham, Pete Beardsworth is a rising producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, following in the footsteps of the free flowing experimental jazz greats such as Herbie Hancock, Weldon Irvine, and Joe Henderson.

Following a sudden accident in 2015 that led to the use of prosthetics and a personal re-birth, Pete’s music encompasses a future-minded spiritualism and is a shining example of art which aims to heal, inspire and give love.

Pete's debut solo EP, Pour Un Homme Seul, has brought together a wealth of global talent and styles, including internationally acclaimed erhu (Chinese violin) player Ling Peng, Afro-Cuban percussionist Owen Campbell and burgeoning film composer Roshan Gunga. It follows a European tour as keys player and musical director for emerging soul singer Yazmin Lacey.

Alongside his solo endeavours, he has long-standing collaborations with Yazmin Lacey and the genre-crossing Invisible Orchestra, and is one-third of the free-jazz inspired electronic outfit Three Body Trio. As well as a release on independent UK label Collective Resonance, Pete has been busy scoring the soundtrack to Chris Rock’s recent Netflix special ‘Tamborine’, and writing a Master’s thesis on ‘Flow Theory’ and its relation to electronic composition. He is also part of a number of charity and education projects for young people and leads music workshops for YMCA’s youth project and Nottingham Refugee Forum.
