PLXYGRND is a platinum selling artist - producer duo consisting of Glo TheBeatz & Kyle Keyz.
Collectively the duo have over 7 X SAMA (South African Music Award) Nominations and 1 X SAMA win for Best Collaboration with co-production on K.O & Nandi Madida’s hit single ‘Say U Will’.
In early 2020 PLXYGRND earned their first Netflix placement with Nadia Nakai’s Big Pun on the hit show Queen Sono.
They earned their next international placement on the African inspired soundtrack to Eddie Murphy’s Coming 2 America, “Rhythms of Zamunda” with the song they produced for Ricky Tyler ‘Everything’
As producers PLXYGRND is responsible for numerous chart topping songs both locally and internationally, their production credits include songs such as DJ Zan-D's Rigorous, Ricky Tyler’s Thirty K’s, DJ Speedsta Naughty, Nadia Nakai’s Money Back, Money Badoo’s 47K$, just to name a few and after having produced, engineered and written for other artists as producers PLXYGRND made the decision to release their own music as artists.
Towards the end of 2021 they presented their first offering as artists titled ‘Happy 2 Be Alive’ Freestyle featuring Def Jam signee Ricky Tyler.
Early 2022 PLXYRGND released their 1st single of year titled Bad News which featured Zimbabwean songstress Gemma Griffiths & Ricky Tyler.
