Hey, we’re Pompatone, a group of young musicians from Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung, carving our own path in the Alternative-Pop Rock scene. We’re all under 20, but that doesn’t stop us from pouring our energy, passion, and stories into our music. It all started in 2024, when a simple café hangout turned into something much bigger—the next day, we were already jamming, and just like that, Pompatone was born.
Musically, we take inspiration from Reality Club, Hindia, .Feast, Lomba Sihir and Arctic Monkeys, but at our core, we just want to tell real stories—our stories. The ups and downs of growing up, friendships, struggles, and dreams. Our debut single, Ontmoeting, which dropped on January 15, 2025, is just the beginning. Expect more raw, honest, and electrifying tracks coming your way.
We’ve played on various stages, from campus gigs to the city center stage, which, so far, has been our biggest show. But we’re only getting started. This year, we’re gearing up to release 3-5 more singles and host our very own showcase. We’re young, hungry, and ready to make some noise. This is Pompatone—welcome to our journey.
