Primavera Negra is a Chilean experimental rock band with clear references in progressive rock. The band's line-up until 2022 was Reinhardt Schulz on electric guitar, Jorge Silva on bass, synths and voices, Carlos Jerez on drums and Mario del Castillo on keyboards, synths, sequences, electronic atmospheres and voice. In 2011 the band released “Psicopompo”, an album that gathers songs of their early stages. Between 2012 and 2015 the band performed live in Santiago de Chile while composing and recording the songs that make up their second album "Gorgona", which was released in 2017.

TANIT
In October 2022, Carlos Jerez, drummer and founding member of Primavera Negra, passed away. The idea of compile an EP with non-released material in tribute to the late drummer, triggered a stage of composing new songs as well. The effort blossomed in "Tanit", Primavera Negra's third album recently released by Mylodon Records. In Tanit we can find 4 tracks in which, for the first time, we can hear Carlos Jerez's voice and lyrics in the songs "Helicóptero II", "Drácula II", "Nadey" and "Pop". With TANIT the band wants to pay tribute to Carlos, and to place within the trilogy of Primavera Negra albums, the artistic personality of Carlos Jerez in the creation and development of the band.
