The band was born in 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona, the group initially began as a rap outfit in 2014 before evolving into a band to push their musical boundaries. Their lineup boasts diverse talents: Juanton Soup on keys, Infin8 as the charismatic emcee, Shyheim on vocals and visual art, and J. Reid on bass, all influenced by their church upbringing. Serendipity struck when brothers J. Reid and Infin8 met Shy at Arizona State University in Tempe, later discovering Juanton was J. Reid's neighbor, cementing the band's formation. Prime Society supported acts like Lil Keed and DaBaby before transitioning into a band, embracing a melodic R&B-inspired approach. Their breakout album, "The World is Yours," featured the chart-topping single "Paradise," reaching #2 on the DRT internet radio charts. Known for their electrifying live performances, including a memorable set at the 2022 Burning Man Festival, Prime Society dreams of achieving the highest success while blending rock, R&B, soul, funk, and pop into their unique sound, heralding a new era of "Neo-Soulish" music.
