Vocalist Princess sang with Osibisa in the '70s before touring as a background vocalist with several artists, among them Evelyn Thomas and Precious Wilson. She was signed as a solo act to Supreme Records, where the production team of Stock, Aitken & Waterman got her a series of British hits. She didn't fare as well on the American charts, recording for Next Plateau in 1985 and 1986 or 1987 on Polydor. Her best single was "Say I'm Your Number One," which was also her lone Top 20 R&B hit. ~ Ron Wynn, Rovi
