Protektahz

The Protektahz (pronounced protectors) are an underground Hip Hop trio from Perth, Western Australia. The group consists of OptiMystic, JR. and producer Loftwah The Beatsmiff. Both JR. and OptiMystic have multiple solo projects, of which all have featured production from Loftwah The Beatsmiff, laying the foundation for them to unite and form the Protektahz.

'Protektahz of Da Lost Art' is their debut album, a scuptured soundscape for the real Hip Hop headz, that pays homage to the golden era, and features a guest list of legendary emcee's laced throughout the project. with a guest list including KRS-One, Sadat X of Brand Nubian, Lords of The Underground, Rockness Monsta of Heltah Skeltah, Timbo King, Prodigal Sunn, Killah Priest, Ruste Juxx, Supreme The Eloheem, Mic Handz, Onyx, Cella Dwellas, Boblakk and Bertie Anderson.

The album features production by Loftwah the Beatsmiff, Endemic Emerald and Kid Tsu, giving you a dose of some pure Hip Hop nostalgia. It'z tha Tekz baby, It'z tha Tekz..
