When the world shut down in 2020, Mr. Prubhprit Sanghera found a new path—music. With sports and in-person school paused during the pandemic, he began writing songs, turning silence into creative fuel and blending Punjabi culture, rap cadence, and personal storytelling. In high school, he competed in elite AAU basketball, developing discipline, leadership, and an intense training mindset. His official collegiate athletic journey began at American River College in Sacramento, where he was rostered and competed in college basketball. He later joined San Jose State University as a practice basketball player, training and scrimmaging with future NBA pros including Brandon Podziemski, now on the Golden State Warriors, and Jalen Williams of the Oklahoma City Thunder. After leaving SJSU, Prubhprit transferred back to ARC to continue his NBA dream, before transferring to Sacramento State in Fall 2023 to focus on academics and compete in high-level college rugby. In Spring 2024, he committed to Simpson University, a Christian NAIA institution, where he began playing college football for the first time and was recruited as a tight end for their inaugural 2024 season on a full athletic scholarship. He graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business. Today, music is his main focus and life goal—building legacy, inspiring through sound, and turning ambition into impact beyond sport.
