ptakova is undoubtedly a cheerful girl with an often sad heart, but also (and most importantly) a vocalist, music producer, composer and songwriter.
In her work, she skillfully blends various musical genres, balancing between alternative music, electronica, and film music. It is through these experiments that she creates her unique world, full of nuances and powerfully delicate sounds.
At the beginning of 2021, ptakova was nominated for the prestigious Fryderyk Music Award in the "Phonographic Debut of the Year" category.
While preparing her second album, "wesoła dziewczyna z sercem często smutnym" in 2023, she trusted herself both as an artist and as a producer. She decided to take her audience on an intense and emotional journey, filled with stormy harmonies, synthesizers, and the gentle sounds of the piano. She captivates not only with her vocals but also with her personality and the sincerity of her communication, which shortens the distance between her and her listeners, allowing her to build strong, lasting relationships with them.
Beyond her own music, ptakova also composes for films, theater productions, and commercials.
ptakova's newest album “thaw”, set for release in late spring 2025, is another musical chapter in her work and another journey. It is a sonic record of internal and external processes – changes, thaws, and the exploration of new creative territories – musically blending organic qualities with electronic structures.
