Beginning as an opportunity to serve students at Reformed University Fellowship at the University of Georgia during the Coronavirus Pandemic, Pulaski & Co. is now a collective of musicians dedicated to making music that centers on Christ as its inspiration.
Consisting of <a href="spotify:artist:4qWbNJklW8aRvZSb8gCi22" data-name="Daniel Hardin">Daniel Hardin</a>, Josh Johnston and Harrison Vital at its core, Pulaski & Co. believes strongly in the value of great, unapologetic instrumentation. The three simply desire to make great music and to enjoy the process of recording and performing art that reflects their faith. The band also brings in featured vocalists and musicians to finish tracks, similar to fellow RUF-originated collective <a href="spotify:artist:0HoHU8SXe0g9jJGOfL8rDq" data-name="Indelible Grace Music">Indelible Grace Music</a>. Hardin handles production duties and the band is housed under his record label, Frayed Knot Records.
“I wanted there to be a bridge between the music I listen to in my car and the music I sing at church, but I could never find it. For whatever reason, the Church has a hard time letting musicians fully express themselves and play to the best of their ability when they worship, and seems to pick and choose which instruments are appropriate for Christian music and which aren’t. God gave all of us a gift and an intense passion for music, and I see Pulaski & Co. as our opportunity to create the music we desperately want to hear and participate in.” -Josh Johnston
