Denver-based producer Pure Colors, formerly of Chicago, has spent the past decade shaping a sound that’s equal parts soulful, raw, and funk-driven.
The "Pure Colors" alias is a commitment to creative authenticity and artistic integrity. He writes often and follows whatever spark feels alive and real in the moment, so his catalog doubles as a record of his experiments as a producer and the shifts he’s gone through as a person. He started out drumming on kitchenware as a child, moved to piano, and by high school was one of only six percussionists selected for the Governor’s Honors Program. A multi-instrumentalist and DJ, he brings a commanding presence behind the decks that turns heads at every set.
