Puretone, the alias for Josh Abrahams, is an Australian musician who emerged from the underground dance music scene in Melbourne in the early 1990s.

He is a composer, producer, bass guitarist and electronica artist and has worked as a writer, music director and producer on albums and film soundtracks, and in television and theatre. His single, "Addicted to Bass", with singer Amiel, was a worldwide smash peaking at #2 in the United Kingdom, #15 in Australia, #1 on the United States dance chart and saw respectable chart positions in a number of European countries.

He also co-wrote and produced the #1 smash hit 'Everybody's Free to Wear Sunscreen' with Baz Luhrmann. Puretone is one of the worlds most talented musicians and in 2019 is more prolific than ever with a string of brilliant new releases with a number of different contributors.
