Quarter Monkey just released their 4th alternative rock studio album ‘Chronic Nuisance’ and is touring to spread their original rock to the masses!
All of Quarter Monkey's members grew up in Spokane, WA. However, it wasn't until early 2007 that the band would officially take shape. Their first album, "Lucy," was released to a packed show at The Hop in Spokane in the fall of 2008. It was the summer of 2009 that Quarter Monkey ventured a three-month West Coast tour. With a kick-off in Spokane, QM advanced down the coast playing shows in: Seattle, Eugene, LA (The Mint), Phoenix, Colorado, Montana and more.
Spokane is still a home for Quarter Monkey. Once QM returned in 2009 they continued playing regionally in the NW at select shows. They have also been featured on radio programs such as: 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge (Clear Channel), 92.3 KYRS in Spokane, 95.3 KPND in Sandpoint, ID & were featured live performers on KHQ Channel 6 Local News (Morning Show).
Quarter Monkey released their sophmore album, "Got No Name" in 2013 and a subsequent EP, "Miss Defied" in 2017. QM has been playing large stage shows at the Knitting Factory, Bloomsday, Bing Crosby Theater, Pig Out In The Park, Elkfest, Cannonball Music Festival, PNW ski mountains, and not-so-large-stage shows at the occasional dive bar. Currently, Quarter Monkey released the new LP, “Chronic Nuisance” (2024 & available now) and is traversing the Pacific Northwest to spread the love!!
