Rising above childhood tone-deafness and seasons of depression, Alabama singer-songwriter Rachel Hughes crafts music as unique as her background. Characteristically powerful vibrato soars over elegant piano and symphonic soundscapes. Laboriously laying the groundwork of production over countless late nights and long weekends, Rachel and her husband lead a small but dedicated team spread across the country in pursuit of perfecting each piece of every project.

In an imminently relatable story, Rachel has wandered through deserts of depression, anxiety, and rejection to proclaim ringing, defiant anthems of hope and restoration in her music today. Her mission is to equip the listener with "weapons of worship" to overpower the rampant despair, disillusionment, and deception born of a fallen world in turmoil.

Rachel’s debut album, There You Are, was released on 8/28/2020 and chronicles a spiritual restoration from painful isolation to contentment in the presence of God’s love. There You Are invites the listener to join in that journey, remembering days of fear and desperation that gradually give way to a real, empowering relationship with the God who creates and loves each of us.
