My music is crafted to resonate, not to impress. Each note is a pursuit of truth, not applause. Entertainment may follow—but it’s never the destination. Sound becomes my language when words fall short. If a listener is moved, the music has spoken.
I have been writing solo piano music since 2002. The intrigue of composing keeps me going along with all the favorite piano classics that I love to practice and learn. My touch at the piano has been described as delicate and clear. I listen for that when I play. People have told me that my music sounds like that of John Barry. It would be a dream for me to compose for the film industry. My music is emotional and would complement real life events. I am releasing my 11th all original piano album this year, very soon. I studied music at the highly acclaimed School of Music at Indiana University but to be honest I never studied composition. [that part is self taught ]. I find great inspiration from the masters and for many of the contemporary pianists of today that write the neoclassical sound.
