I'm a Swedish composer and multi-instrumentalist living on the island of Gotland. Most nights, you'll find me at my old Malmsjö upright piano, working in the late hours when the world goes quiet. Though I mostly play piano, I've been drawn lately to the viola—there's something about its darker, in-between voice that resonates with me.
I believe in simplicity—letting each note earn its place, giving silence room to speak. My music often grows from solitude and introspection, but I'm always searching for that warmth within the melancholy, those moments of connection we all recognize but can't quite name.
My debut EP Ainigma came out in 2019 through New York label Sonder House, followed by Felt Transience, and some releases on silent beta records. Both were recorded in my home studio, which helps keep that intimate quality I'm after. I've also been composing for film—a different kind of storytelling that pushes me to explore new textures. Currently, I'm deep into writing a string quartet, returning to longer forms.
I work slowly, patiently. I don't rush toward resolution or fill every space with sound. People have described my music as "hauntingly beautiful"—I hope it's the kind that stays with you after it ends, like a half-remembered memory, something felt more than understood.
