Inspired by acts like Oasis, The Stone Roses, The Beatles, Brendan Benson, Baxter Dury, The Prodigy, IDLES, The Clash, Sex Pistols, Wire, The Wedding Present and more. Richie has taken his influences and created his own unique style. Coming from a small fishing town in the North East of England, North Shields, Richie wears his heart on his sleeve and writes about all he sees, feels and hears. He’s had his songs played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio Newcastle amongst others.
His second EP “The Riot Act 1715” will be released in 2025 and has already seen him get added to BBC Introducing’s Orbit which champions the best new artists in the UK.
