Richie Teanet is a multi-talented,award winning artist from Tzaneen Limpopo South Africa.He's a son of music icon(the late PETA TEANET king of shangaan disco ) and living legend Vuyelwa(Queen of xitsonga disco) .He is a member of the duo group alongside with his little brother C Boy Teanet. Their duo/group name is called RISE TEANET.
Richie Teanet discovered his talent at church at the age of 11 years. He had passion with live band and his musical ear became an advantage that he managed to play all the musical instruments the band had (drums, keyboard, acoustic, bass and lead guitar.His experience in the live band boosted his skills as a producer, Dj, vocalist, composer and song writer.
Regardless of coming from home of music Legends, Richie Teanet worked hard to pave and prove to be the best without fear of favor.He worked with artist like lil meri, General manizo, Mlindo the vocalist, Shebeshxt, King Monada, to mention few. His collaboration with King Monada alongside his lil bro C Boy Teanet made a classic hit which is over 5 million views on YouTube. He got recognized by winning 2 provincial awards in 2022(LIMPOPO MUSIC AWARDS) Best Khelobedu hit and Best upcoming artist as a duo group RISE TEANET.
His skills of fusing multiple genres to create his own sound is what makes him special. He has unique voice and style of writing as well as playing instruments. He is well known of featuring a blend of energetic rhythms and soulful melodies whenever he steps into a song
